About the brand

The Bidri is a 100+ year old family-run brand from Bidar, Karnataka. preserving the 600-year-old art of Bidriware.

The brand Philosophy is rooted in the Alchemy of Contrast. A sophisticated dialogue between deep, matte-black surfaces and the ethereal glow of hand-inlaid silver. Designed to resonate with a global audience of art enthusiasts and collectors, the brand’s language shifts

Objective

To elevate Bidriware from a traditional craft to a global luxury icon, ensuring that the legacy of this craft is recognized as a pinnacle of Indian heritage and contemporary design.

By designing a premium experiential packaging that honors the craftmanship and precision of Bidri craft. By utilizing the "Shining Star of Midnight" metaphor, the project aims to bridge the gap between historical Indian craftsmanship and the global market through a sophisticated, narrative-driven unboxing experience.
